Arrival by Car: reaching Solden in Tyrol
Drive across the Alrberg Pass or through the Alrberg Tunnel from Vorarlbert to Tyrol towards Landeck. Afterwards continue on the Autobahn A12 until the Otztal exit. Follow the A road Bundestraße B186 for another 35 kilometres until you reach Solden. Drive until the town exit of Solden – at Hotel Alpenhof take a right – towards Rettenbach –Tiefenbachgletscher Glacier – at the second junction take a turn towards Hochsolden.

Arrival by Car: reach Solden in Tyrol from the North:
From Bad Tolz you take the Achen Pass, follow the A road Bundestrasse 181 until you reach Jenbach. From Jenbach take the Autobahn A12 towards Innsbruck until you reach the Otztal exit. Follow the A road Bundestraße B186 for another 35 kilometres until you reach Solden.
From Garmisch Partenkirchen you can reach Solden via Mittenwald. From here you drive on towards Seefeld. Then take the Autobahn A12 until the Otztal exit. Follow the A road Bundestraße B186 for another 35 kilometres until you reach Solden. Drive until the town exit of Solden – at Hotel Alpenhof take a right – towards Rettenbach –Tiefenbachgletscher Glacier – at the second junction take a turn towards Hochsolden.

Arrival by Car: reach Solden in Tyrol from the East:
Drive from Munich or Salzburg on the Autobahn A93 until Kufstein and then continue on the Autobahn A12 via Innsbruck until you reach the Otztal exit. Here you exit the Autobahn and change onto the A Road Bundestraße B186. Follow it until, after approximately 35 kilometres, you reach Solden. Drive through Solden until you reach the town exit – at Hotel Alphof take a right – towards Rettenbach –Tiefenbachgletscher Glacier – at the second junction take a turn towards Hochsolden.

Arrival by Car: reach Solden in Tyrol from the South:
Coming from Meran in the South you can reach Solden via the Brenner Pass. The shortest connection via the Timmelsjochstrasse is only open from mid June until the end of October. Follow the Brennerstrasse until you reach Innsbruck. There change onto the Autobahn A12, via which you will reach the Otztal exit. Exit the Autobahn and change onto the A Road Bundestraße B186. Follow it until, after approximately 35 kilometres, you reach Solden. Drive through Solden until you reach the town exit, at Hotel Alphof take a right – towards Rettenbach –Tiefenbachgletscher Glacier – at the second junction take a turn towards Hochsolden.
