144 kilometres of pure slope fun are on offer in Sölden to all skiers and snowboarders. The ski resort excels due to the good mix of slopes in all categories: around 50 % of slopes are blue, 30 % red and 20 % black. The snowpark and funslope on the Giggijoch offer even more action – close to the Hotel Edelweiss. The funslope is perfect for the whole family, as it combines playful elements such as a 360° bend, high fives and low-fives. Alternatively the AREA47 snowpark in Sölden is for genuine freestylers. From box and wall rides to A-frame and kickers, there are plenty of elements for beginners and profis.
Away from the slopes there are inviting free-ride runs for all powder lovers. The free-ride area on the Giggijoch offers all off-piste beginners an opportunity to learn. The slopes are not too steep and are often only a short walk from the lift station. The most important motto for all free-riders: safety first! Off piste skiing should only be done with the correct know-how, the complete free-rider equipment and if possible with a local guide.
