Surrounded by a spectacular mountain panorama, in the middle of the ski resort of Sölden, lies the 4*S-Hotel Edelweiss in Hochsölden at an altitude of 2,090 m. Snow security and comfort are important up here. Click on your skis at the door to the hotel and you’re off. The middle station of the Rotkogel-gondola is only a few metres away. You can quickly and comfortably reach the centre of Sölden with the gondola or the shuttle buses several times a day.
The skiing metropolis of Söldenprovides you with 144 kilometres of slopes, 31 modern lifts, 33 ski huts and 3 three thousand metre peaks within the resort. Thanks to the adjoining two glacial ski areas, nothing stands in the way of skiing fun from autumn to spring. For that little extra convenience on your skiing holiday there are a sports shop and ski school right next door to the Hotel Edelweiss.

How to plan your individual journey to Hochsölden…
… from Germany (north)
Either via Garmisch-Partenkirchen/Mittenwald/Seefeld or Kempten/Fernpass/Imst or via Bad Tölz/Achenpass/Jenbach onto the A12 motorway. Follow the motorway to the Ötztal exit. Leave the motorway there and change to the B186 main road until you reach Sölden after 35 km. Drive to the end of Sölden and turn off in the direction of Rettenbach-/Tiefenbach glacier. Now follow the signs towards Hochsölden.

…from Vorarlberg (west)
Drive over the Arlberg Pass or through the Arlberg Tunnel from Vorarlberg to Tyrol in the direction of Landeck. Then continue on the A12 motorway until you reach the Ötztal exit. Then continue on the A12 motorway and change to the B186 main road until you reach Sölden after 35 km. Drive to the end of Sölden and turn off in the direction of Rettenbach-/Tiefenbach glacier. Now follow the signs towards Hochsölden.

…from Salzburg/Wien (east)
Coming from Munich, Salzburg or Vienna in the direction of Kufstein, follow the A12 motorway via Innsbruck until you reach the Ötztal exit. Leave the motorway there and change to the B186 main road until you reach sölden after 35 km. Drive to the end of Sölden and turn off in the direction of Rettenbach-/Tiefenbach glacier. Now follow the signs towards Hochsölden.

Important information for a safe journey.
Please note that in Austria winter equipment for your car is compulsory depending on the weather. This means that winter tyres are mandatory from 01 Nov to 15 April when winter road conditions arise. Depending on snow and road conditions, snow chains may also be advisable or necessary.

How to plan your climate friendly journey to Hochsölden.
The nearest station is Ötztal Bahnhof – ca.35 km from Sölden. This is the station for the railjet that travels between Vienna and Zürich. The main station in Innsbruck is also ideally situated for your holiday in Sölden. We are happy to organise a transfer for you from the station to Hochsölden. From Ötztal Bahnhof there is a bus service every half an hour that will take you to Sölden..

How to plan your journey to Hochsölden from further afield.
The nearest airport is Innsbruck, which is approx. 1.5 hours away from the Skihotel Edelweiss in Hochsölden. Many direct connections from Germany, United Kingdom and other European countries are available, especially in winter. Other international airports are Munich (approx. 240 km) or Zürich (approx. 290 km). We are happy to organise your transfer to the hotel and back.

Garage parking
You may park your car safely and shielded from the weather in our garage throughout the duration of your stay.
Cost: € 15 per day
For guests staying in a double room de Lux or one of our suites, the garage parking is included.
How to find our garage:
The underground car park “D” is located by the signpost “Hochsölden” (Height restriction 2,10 m). With your room card you can open the garage door. Please inform us of the number of your parking slot.
Long-term parking is available on the open-air level “B” on the right-hand side. Please note that the swimming pool deck can only be used as a loading zone for a maximum of 15 mins. (entrance height 2.20 m).
