From the ski room onto the slopes

Each locker also has its own ski boot dryer. So the winter sports equipment is not only safely stowed away, but also warm and dry the next day. With dry ski boots on your feet, you can then go straight from the ski room to the slopes.
Rotkogl-gondola:
Connecting the mountain to the valley
Not only the slopes, but also the lifts are on the hotel doorstep. The middle station of the “Rotkoglbahn” gondola is located a few metres away from the hotel. The gondola carries you not only onto the slopes but also to the valley. Therefore it is possible to use the gondola as a means of public transport connecting you to Sölden. In addition a shuttle bus runs several times a day between Sölden and Hochsölden. The gondola is an ideal means of transport for beginners.

Almost half of the ski slopes in the ski resort of Sölden are blue and therefore ideally suited for newcomers to skiing and snowboarding. The easy slopes enable a simple introduction to the slope sports. To ensure the correct technique from the word go, there are several ski schools in Sölden and Hochsölden, offering courses for both adults and children. From the age of 3 the next generation of winter sports enthusiasts can take part on skis or a board. The majority of children’s courses take place in groups and the experienced instructors gently and playfully introduce the little ones to the sport. For youths and adults there are also a number of options on offer to learn or improve their technique in skiing or snowboarding. By the way, the ski schools in Sölden offer other sporting activities such as cross-country skiing, free-riding, snow-shoe walking etc.
